About Raymond: Raymond is the world’s largest integrated fabric firm, with headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It controls around 60% of the Indian suiting market. The corporation’s textile sector has a domestic distribution network of over 4,000 multi-brand outlets and 637 exclusive retail shops.

Suits are sold in over 400 Indian cities through 30,000 retailers, with a unique chain present in over 150 towns. It sells its products in over 55 countries, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.

It has over 20,000 suiting fabric styles and colours, making it one of the most extensive collections of designs and colours by a single company. In 2015, the Brand Trust Report named it India’s most trusted apparel brand.

Raymond History

Raymond was founded in 1925 and is a famous textile company in India. Raymond was the first to develop a poly-wool blend in India in 1959, resulting in the creation of the world’s best-suiting fabric, the Super 240s, produced from 11.6-micron of superfine wool.

It manufactures mixed wool and premium polyester viscose worsted suits. Additionally, the textile industry has expanded into engineering and aviation.

Raymond is the largest steel file maker in the world, accounting for 30 percent of the market share.

The textile factory of Raymond is located in Thane, Vapi, and Chhindwara. These facilities have obtained numerous certifications, including ISO 9001 for quality management systems and ISO 14001 for environmental control systems.

In 2011, the company opened its 600th Raymond Shop. Raymond Premium Apparel surpassed the Rs. 1 billion mark in 2013. And the business announced the debut of its ‘Makers’ brand across India.
