Raghubir Yadav is one of the very famous artists in the Bollywood industry. He is a diverse man in the Indian cinema with talents in acting, singing, composing, and production.
Raghubir Yadav Early Life: An Indian actor, singer, composer, and production designer who specialises in Hindi cinema is Raghubir Yadav. With Massey Sahib (1985), in which he portrayed the lead part, he made his film debut.
Career and Films of Raghubir Yadav
He has received two international honors for his performance in Massey Sahib, including the FIPRESCI Critics Award from the Venice Film Festival in 1986 and the Silver Peacock Award from the 11th International Film Festival of India in 1987.
The National School of Drama in New Delhi, where the playwright and social activist was depicted in the movie till 1977.
With the Parsi Theatre Company, Yadav traveled in caravans, slept in tents, and performed on improvised stages in villages, towns, and cities throughout India while acting and singing in more than 70 plays and over 2500 performances. He performed with glove puppets at the Rangoli Puppet Theatre in Lucknow from 1973 to 1974.
He appeared in almost 2000 performances at the National School of Drama Repertory (1977–1986), acting in about 40 plays. Additionally, he has contributed to the sets, music, costumes, and masks.

In the ensuing decades, he appeared in numerous influential movies. He has been in two movies that have been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film (Salaam Bombay! and Lagaan).
One of the very few Indian actors to earn the Silver Peacock Best Actor Award at the International Film Festival of India is Raghubir Yadav.
In Salaam Bombay, he played the drug-addicted “Chillum,” which was his most well-known part (1988). He performed in Firaaq.
He starred in the 2011 movie Dear Friend Hitler, which derives its title from two letters Mahatma Gandhi addressed to Adolf Hitler to start and terminate World War II in 1939, just before it was about to break out, and on Christmas Eve 1940, after it had already begun.
Recent Projects of Raghubir Yadav
He most recently performed “Lamh Tera” alongside Hitesh Sonik in the second episode of Coke Studio @ MTV, Season 2. This song was the fifth and last song to be featured on the show, which aired on MTV India on July 14. The song is a Madhya Pradesh folk tune.
