Artificial intelligence (AI) records real-time conversations between doctors and patients.

Doctors can focus on what matters most – their patients – by using this technology developed by Microsoft’s Nuance Communications, Abridge, and Suki.

Dr. Shiv Rao, founder and CEO of Abridge, says ambient clinical documentation lets doctors focus on the patient.

It could revolutionize the way healthcare is delivered. When I hit start, have a conversation, then hit stop, the note’s there,” Dr. Rao explained.

Microsoft’s Nuance’s Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) Copilot gives doctors back time they can spend on patients.

Following overwhelmingly positive physician feedback, Stanford Health Care has deployed DAX Copilot across its entire organization.

The technology is easy to use, says Gary Fritz, Stanford Health Care’s chief of applications.

There’s anecdotal evidence that ambient AI scribes can reduce documentation burdens and improve physician-patient communication.

Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) implemented ambient AI for 10,000 doctors and staff in 10 weeks, recording over 303,000 patient encounters. AI could improve patient interactions and reduce clerical work after hours.
