Dhawal Kulkarni’s Early Life: Dhawal Sunil Kulkarni is a cricketer from India born on December 10, 1988. He has played at the first-class level. He bowls with his right arm at a medium pace and bats later down the order with his right hand.

Dhawal Kulkarni Career

In the Ranji Trophy competition in 2012–2013, he was one of the major faces that helped make Mumbai the champions of the Ranji Trophy for the 40th time. After scoring 20 runs not out in the first inning, he went on to take 5/33 against the Services in the semi-final.

After that, he went on to take 4/24 and 5/32 against Saurashtra, who were competing for the first time and bowled them out for 148 and 82 runs, respectively, to ensure a victory in the final by an inning and 125 runs.

As a token of appreciation, he was given a spot in the India A cricket squad. He was chosen to participate in the quadrangular series in 2014, which India ultimately won, and he was an integral part of that victory.

Because of his outstanding play during the 2016 Indian Premier League season, he was selected to the Cricinfo and Cricbuzz IPL XI. In the Ranji Trophy competition in 2017–18, he led Mumbai in wickets taken with 21 and played in six of the team’s matches.

In the 2018 Indian Premier League auction, he was purchased by the Rajasthan Royals in January of that year. In July 2018, he was selected to be a member of the India Blue team that will compete in the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy.

In October 2018, he was given a spot on India A’s roster for the Deodhar Trophy for the 2018–19 season. He was selected for India C’s squad to compete in the 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy in October 2019.

Amid the team’s difficulties with pacers, Dhawal Kulkarni joined the Mumbai Indians squad. Before the five-time champions recruited him, Kulkarni was a member of the commentary team for the official broadcaster.

Dhawal Kulkarni International Career

Although he was selected to be in the Test squad that went to New Zealand in 2009, he did not play in any matches. As a result of his performance in the quadrangular series in 2014, he was chosen to participate in the one-day international squad that will tour England.

In September 2014, he debuted in his first One-Day International match against England at Edgbaston, the fourth ODI of the series. On June 20, 2016, he competed in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, which took place in Harare against Zimbabwe.

Shraddha Kharpude is his wife.  In addition, he has a younger sister whose name is Dhanashree Kulkarni. Shraddha Kharpude, Dhawal Kulkarni’s wife, is the well-known fashion coordinator for Femina magazine.

She has been married to Dhawal Kulkarni. After several years together, the couple announced their engagement in June 2015. Ultimately, they settled on getting married on March 3, 2016, exactly one year later. The couple welcomed their first child into the world in January 2020 named Nitara.
