Deepak Hooda Early Life: Deepak Jagbir Hooda is a professional cricketer from India, born on April 19, 1995. Since he was young, Jajbir Hooda Junior has been involved in a wide variety of sporting activities. His father, Jajbir Hooda, is a member of the Air Force and a player for Kabaddi.

Deepak Hooda’s debut and career

Hooda is a “highly accurate bowler,” as described by Sanjiv Sawant, the man who instructs him. Additionally, Hooda has a reputation for being a quick fielder. On April 10, 2015, he made his Indian Premier League debut for Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings (known as Kings XI Punjab at the time), and he scored 30 runs off of 15 balls.

He became the man of the match and scored his first half-century in the second match of the Indian Premier League that he played in for Rajasthan Royals against Delhi Daredevils. He scored 54 runs off of 25 balls.

During the fourth round of the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, Hooda scored his maiden double-century in first-class cricket while playing for Baroda. The match was part of the Ranji Trophy.

During the auction for the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League, Hooda was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad for the sum of 4.2 crores. Although the team decided to keep him before the 2017 auction, he was eventually let go following the 10th season of the Indian Premier League.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad acquired him in the 2018 Indian Premier League auction in January of that year. In preparation for the upcoming IPL auction in 2020, the Sunrisers Hyderabad decided to let him go. Ahead of the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League, Kings XI Punjab made the purchase of him at the auction for that season’s IPL.

During the 2022 Indian Premier League auction, Hooda was purchased by the Lucknow Super Giants for the price of 5.75 crores.

Deepak Hooda International career

In November 2017, Hooda was selected as India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) team member for their upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

Hooda was selected for India’s Twenty20 International (T20I) team for the 2018 Nidahas Trophy in February 2018, although he did not end up playing in the tournament. It was announced in December 2018 that he would play for India at the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

In June 2022, Hooda was selected as part of India’s T20I team for their series against Ireland.

Hooda eventually went on to record his first Twenty20 International century during the second game of the series. His partnership with Sanju Samson, which totaled 176 runs, was the highest partnership for the second wicket in men’s Twenty20 Internationals. It was also India’s biggest partnership for any wicket.

When he was still in school, he first picked up the sport of cricket. When he played for the Kendriya Vidyalaya U-17 cricket team in the SGFI in 2009, he was just 14 years old when he reached the senior level of competition. He began his career as a wicket-keeper batsman and later transitioned into a batting all-rounder role.
