Uttam Kumar, popularly referred to as the Mahanayak, was an associate Indian actor, producer, director, writer, composer, and singer of the World Health Organization who primarily worked in Bengali cinema.

Uttam Kumar Introduction: Uttam Kumar was born on September three, 1926. Kumar’s career spanned over thirty years, ranging from the late Nineteen Forties. He appeared in over two hundred films and fifteen Hindi movies. Many of his known films are Agni Pariksha, Nayak, Amanush, and many more.

He died on July twenty-four, 1980, at the age of fifty-three. In 2012 on the day of remembrance of his death, the govt of the province created the “Mahanayak Samman” award named when Kumar for lifespan accomplishment in film.

Uttam Kumar Early Life

Uttam Kumar was admitted to Chkraberia high school and later entered South residential district college, wherever he passed matric. He has been a cinema lover since childhood. While still in class in 1935, he founded a theatre cluster satellite Club with his friends. His 1st role was in Rabindranath Tagore’s Mukuth.

He joined the Goenka school of Commerce and Business Administration for his higher studies; however, he couldn’t complete them thanks to his family’s financial difficulties.

He learned singing and music from Nidanbandhu Banerjee. He learnt acting from observance theatre actor Sisir Kumar Bhaduri.

Uttam Kumar Acting Career

After operating within the theatres and starting, Kumar entered the movie industry in 1947 with the Hindi film Mayadore; he was ne’er discharged. His 1st flick was Drishtidan, released in 1948 when Nitin Bose was removed. He appeared because of the hero in the flick Kamona in 1949.

His 1st sure-fire film was beneath the M.P Production banner Basu Poribar in 1952 by Nirmal Dev. His 1st breakthrough role came in 1954 in Agradoot’s film Agnipariksha. Kumar collaborated with Satyajit Ray in 1966 on the film Nayak.

Arun Kumar Chattopadhyay was born on September three, 1926, at a maternal home at Ahiritola in north Calcutta. His father, Sarkari Chattopadhyay and his mother, Chapla Hindu deity, greatly favoured him. He comes from an average middle-class family.

His father was an associate worker, presumably a subway cinema hall film operator. He had two brothers named Barun Kumar and Tarun Kumar. His younger brother Tarun Kumar is an additionally associate actor.
