Ajay Singh Deol, also known by his stage name Sunny Deol, was born on October 19, 1956, in Gurdaspur, Punjab, India. He is an Indian actor, diplomat, cinematographer, distributor, and member of the government.

Sunny Deol Personal life: In a Punjabi Jat household, Sunny Deol was born on October 19, 1956, in the Indian hamlet of Sahnewal to Bollywood stars Dharmendra and Parkash Kaur.

He has two younger sisters currently living in California, Vijayta and Ajeeta, and therefore a younger brother Bobby Deol. He has two biological half-sisters, celebrities Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, courtesy of his stepmother Hema Malini. Abhay Deol, his cousin, is also a veteran performer.

On April 23, 2019, Deol formally enrolled with the BJP.

With a percentage of 82,459 ballots, he trounced Indian National Congress rival Sunil Jakhar to clinch the Gurdaspur electorate in the 2019 General Election.
