Sumeet Vyas Biography

Sumeet Vyas Personal life: Born to playwright B.M. Vyas as well as Sudha Vyas in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Sumeet Vyas spent most of his childhood years there before relocating to Mumbai to pursue his passion for acting and writing. He studied at Mumbai’s R.D. National College. Sumeet wanted to be a pilot or a computer engineer when he was in school. He also loved writing and performing, though.

Later, after deciding on the second course of action, he abandoned his college studies and began working as an assistant editor in a Mumbai editing studio.

Sumeet Vyas Career

In the Doordarshan series Woh Huye Na Tumhare, Vyas made his television debut in a minor role. He later played the character Karthik in the television programme Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein. Additionally, he played a significant part in Rabindranath Tagore’s Stories, a TV series. In the 2009 film Jashn, he made his Bollywood debut. He then continued acting in the film English Vinglish.

He has appeared in several online series, such as TVF Tripling and Permanent Roommates, the latter of which he also co-wrote.
