Jagdish Chandra Chakrabarty a businessman and Monica Chakrabarty a housewife gave birth to Indian actor Sabyasachi, born on 8 September 1956. He has showcased his talent in the theaters, films, and television.
Sabyasachi Chakrabarty- Early Life and Background: Sabyasachi was born in Kolkata. He did his schooling at Andrew’s High School, Kolkata in 1975. And studied Bachelor of Science(BSc) from Hansraj College, Delhi University. He also cleared the AMI examination while he stayed in Delhi in 1978.

Sabyasachi tied the knot with Mithu Chakrabarty in the year 1986 who is also a famous Bengali actress. Together they have two sons Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arjun Chakrabarty.
Sabyasachi has a grandchild named Avantika Chakrabarty. Actress Ridhima Ghosh is his daughter-in-law who is married to his son Gaurav.
Other than acting Sabyasachi is well known for his love for nature and forests. He has a keen interest in wildlife photography.

Sabyasachi Career
Sabyasachi started his acting career in 1985 and has been working in the industry since. Sabyasachi’s first mainstream work was a lead role in the 1987 TV series “ Tero Parbon ” for the Kolkata Doordarshan channel in which his role as the character Gora was well-received and made him popular in his early days of acting.
He made his debut in Tapan Sinha’s movie “Antardhan” in 1992.

He won numerous awards among them listing out few. One of the awards was for his role in Ek Je Aachhe Kanya as Best Actor in 2002 and again in 2004 Anandalok Awards awarded him Best Actor for his role in Bombaiyer Bombete.
He also received Best Actor awards from Bengal Film Journalists Association Awards for his role in “Kakababu Here Gelen” in the year 1996 and “Mahulbanir Sereng” in the year 2005.
He also received the BFJA award for best supporting role in the years 1995, 2000, and 2003. Chakrabarty is also a recipient of the Kalakar Awards.
