Rishi Kapoor’s early years: Rishi Raj Kapoor is his full name. His mother’s name was Krishna Raj Kapoor, and his father was actor-director Raj Kapoor. He was the family’s second child. Prithviraj Kapoor was also the name of his grandfather. He had two actor brothers named Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor among his four siblings.
Additionally, he had two sisters: the late Rima Jain and insurance agent Ritu Nanda. With more than 150 films to his credit, Rishi Kapoor is regarded as Bollywood’s enduring face.

Kapoor returned to India on September 26, 2019, after more than a year of effective treatment. Due to breathing problems, he was recently hospitalized at Mumbai’s Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital on April 29, 2020. Sadly, he passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67, from complications related to bone marrow malignancy, surprising his fans. At the Chandanwadi Crematorium, his final rites were done, and his ashes were submerged in the Banganga.
