Raqesh Bapat Early life &  Family Background: On September 1, 1978, Raqesh Bapat was born in Amravati, India, where he grew up. His mother worked as an English professor at a university, whereas his father served in the navy. Sheetal Vashisth is his younger sister.

Raqesh grew up passionate about making things out of paper and glue. When he was in ninth grade, he received a national award for painting.

The University of Mumbai awarded him an MBA after he completed his primary schooling in Amravati.

In 2011, he married Ridhi Dogra, with whom he divorced two years later. During Bigg Boss OTT, he met Shamita Shetty, whom he began dating in September 2021, but they announced their separation in July 2022, by posting on their social media.

Raqesh Bapat Career life 

In 2001, he made his Bollywood debut in Anubhav Sinha’s “Tum Bin” because the producers noticed him in a Colgate commercial. Since then, he’s appeared in a slew of films and TV shows, making him a familiar face.

 His first Marathi film was titled Aayna ka Bayna and directed by Samit Kakkad, and he made his acting debut in it. Additionally, Bapat participated in Sony Entertainment Television India’s show Hongey Judaa Na Hum. Aamna Sharif was his co-star in Rohan Mishra opposing him.

 In 2013, he appeared in the Star Plus reality show Nach Baliye 6 with his then-wife Ridhi Dogra.

 He appeared in two films in the same year. He portrayed a chemistry teacher in the Hindi teen film Gippi, directed by Sonam Nair and produced by Karan Johar. He also appeared in John Matthew Matthan’s comedy-drama A New Love Ishtory.

 Qubool Hai, produced by 4 Lion Films and aired on Zee TV in January 2014, saw him take over Karan Singh Grover’s role as Asad Ahmed Khan.

 This year he took up the lead role of Shantanu Kant in Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, a popular fantasy family sitcom on life OK, replacing Karan Grover.

 He also appeared in Tu Aashiqui, a Colors TV show. Mumbai Apli Ahe (2019) is a film made by Bharat Sunanda about a young thief named Raja who grows up to become one of Mumbai’s most notorious dons.

 As a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT in 2021, Bapat came in third place. Then, on Day 35, he entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wildcard competitor, but on Day 40, he pulled out for medical concerns.
