Parthiv Patel’s early life: Parthiv Ajay Patel was a wicketkeeper-batsman and former Indian professional cricketer. He was also a member of the Indian national cricket squad throughout his career. Patel was born in 1985. He batted left-handed and was a left-handed batter for Gujarat in the domestic cricket competition.

After losing a finger at the age of nine, he initially found it challenging to keep wickets, but after sufficient practice, he became accustomed to the new situation.

Patel was the captain of the Gujarat team that competed in the Ranji Trophy in 2016–2017. After winning their respective quarterfinal and semifinal matches against Odisha and Jharkhand, the team is now competing in their second-ever championship match. In January, they faced defending champions Mumbai in the final, which took place in Indore.

Patel’s scores of 90 and 143 in the first and second innings were a large part of the victory that brought Mumbai its first Trophy. The score of 143 scored by Patel during a victorious chase in a Ranji Trophy final was the highest ever recorded. With this victory,

Gujarat became the first team in Indian history to win all three major domestic trophies, and Patel became the first skipper to accomplish this feat.

In July 2018, he was responsible for leading India Green in the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy competition. In October this year, he was responsible for leading India B in the Deodhar Trophy for 2019–20.

Parthiv Patel International Format

In 2002, when Parthiv played wicketkeeper for the Indian side, he became the youngest wicketkeeper ever to represent a country in a Test match. Parthiv Patel’s chances of becoming India’s first-choice wicketkeeper decreased when MS Dhoni established himself as a wicketkeeper-batsman. Dhoni’s development as a wicketkeeper-batsman eliminated such circumstances.
