Fitterfly Unveils JEDi: the Cutting-Edge AI for Diabetes Takes Off in India
With a mix of human and technological help, digital healing solutions are trying to fill in huge gaps in traditional healthcare. The issue at hand, however, needs an extra answer that can work well on a large scale and is highly personalized, smart, and open to everyone.
Fitterfly’s X-labs Innovation team is working on JEDi, an AI that can teach conversations with empathy. JEDi helps people take care of their nutrition, exercise, and general health by giving them an organized 28-day plan that was made to look like a game. It gives users personalized advice and pushes them toward healthier lifestyles by looking at their answers, health data, and tastes.

The architecture, according to JEDi, blends rule-based NLP with a basis of an expert system and large language models (LLMs). Fitterfly’s knowledge base drives our therapies. Ammar Jagirdar, Head of X Labs at Fitterfly, said, “I deliberately refer to JEDi as ‘her’ to emphasise the nuanced personality we’ve developed that prioritizes patient care. With this personality, subscribing members are more likely to interact with her on a daily basis for improved health, while maintaining the awareness that she is more than just an AI coach or agent – she is a partner in their health.”
It is now possible to use JEDi since the Fitterfly Metabolic Health app came out. For business wellness programs, JEDi modules will also be offered as “plug and play” options. Our company thinks that JEDi will also be used in patient care programs and by insurance companies as an extra service that adds value.”JEDi is the first product developed by Fitterfly’s Innovation Lab and demonstrates the company’s commitment to using Artificial Intelligence in Digital Therapeutics to improve patient outcomes,” said Shailesh Gupta, Fitterfly’s COO and co-founder. By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, I am confident that we will be able to provide solutions that are scaleable.”
JEDi will give people with diabetes data-driven information that will help them take charge of their own care and lower the cost of healthcare in India. It will also be easy for JEDi to link to healthcare systems that are already in place.
