People born on January 1st through October 10th get paid on the second Wednesday of every month. People born on September 11th through September 20th get paid on the third Wednesday. People born on September 21st through September 31st get paid on the fourth Wednesday.

People who started getting SSDI benefits before May 1997 get them every month on the third.

Your Guide to Social Security Income Payments: When will SDI checks be deposited?

Here are the exact payment times for February:

  • Third, those who have been getting the benefit since at least 1997.
  • 14th: People born between January 1 and October 10; November 11 and October 20; and December 28: People born between December 21 and December 31.
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is paid to you on the first of every month if you also get it.

If you don’t get your payment on time, what should you do?

The SSA says that you should wait three mail days after the due date before calling the contact line or going to your local Social Security office.

However, you should also call your bank first to see if there is a problem on their end that is stopping you from getting your deposit.
