From starting as a small television store in Mumbai, Vijay Sales has grown to become one of the largest Electronics retail chain companies in India.
It is a private company “limited by shares” and the most striking fact is that the company is not listed on the stock market.
Mr. Nanu Gupta is the vision behind this retail group Nilesh & Ashish Gupta and Karan Gupta are the managing directors of the company.

Since its mother branch started at Mahim, Mumbai in 1967 the company has expanded to have 120 plus electronic stores all over India.
The company attributes its success to its expansion in North & Western India.
While the first showroom was named Vijay Television Store in 19814 it was changed to Vijay Sales.
In 2010, the company sprawled to Gujarat and finally occupied a place in the national Capital.
The company played its cards in the south by acquiring Tirumala Music Center (TMC), a chain of consumer durable retail stores in Telangana, and rebuilding it as Vijay Sales.
Presently, the company aspires to expand its total stores to 200 by 2025.
