Before Swift went to the Chiefs-Bears game, Kelce told The Pat McAfee Show that he “threw the ball in her court” and asked her to come watch him play. He said on the show that he knew she would go see him play, but he didn’t say that until Wednesday.
“It wasn’t just an out-of-the-blue, ‘Hey, come to the game,'” Kelce said. Since that first appearance, Swift, 34, has attended 12 of Kelce’s games.

“I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man,” he told McAfee.
The attention their relationship has gotten him is “brand new,” but he said he’s enjoying it.

“You know, it’s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated,” he continued. “But I’m having fun with it. The majority of the world is having fun with it, outside all the cranky NFL fans that just don’t want to see the Chiefs win.”
The athlete tried to give the singer his phone number while at the singer’s Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium, which led to rumors that they were dating.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he recalled to his brother Jason on their New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast in July.
She was busy getting ready for the show, so Kelce wasn’t able to give her the custom bracelet. He said he was “a little butthurt” about it.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he told his bigger sibling.
In an interview for the December/January issue of WSJ. Magazine, he said that he admires her work ethic and that they have a lot in common. Because he has to work, he can’t go to the Grammys on Sunday. He told McAfee that.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for but I think I got practice on Sunday,” stated Kelce.
The game is set for February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kelce and the Chiefs will play the 49ers. There are six awards that Swift is up for at the Grammys. These include album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year.
