TCS Announces Plans to Forge One of the World’s Largest AI-Ready Workforces: According to TCS, the world’s largest IT services company, 3.5 lakh employees have been trained in artificial intelligence. Over half of the company’s employees have now been trained in what it calls the biggest opportunity for IT services firms in the future, after announcing 1.5 lakh employees had been trained in January.

Over 350,000 TCS employees have GenAI foundational skills, according to an official statement.

In 2023, it created a dedicated business unit for AI and cloud to meet the needs of customers.

AWS recognized Tata group company as a Generative AI competency partner. Krishna Mohan, Deputy Head of TCS’ AI.Cloud Unit, expressed this. In addition to our industry-leading investments and deep collaboration with AWS, TCS achieved AWS generative competency as a launch partner.

Using GenAI, TCS has enhanced customer experiences for airlines, such as providing natural conversations with customers when a flight is delayed or canceled.

With GenAI, it’s also streamlined and simplified contract review, including clause identification and validation.
