RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railways Recruitment Board has put out a call for Sub-Inspectors (Exe.) and Constables (Exe.) to join the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). People who are interested can see if they meet the requirements and find out other important information about the job openings here or on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

There are 2000 open positions for constables and 250 open positions for sub-inspectors in the RPF and RSF. This round of hiring is to fill those positions. Ten percent of these jobs will be set aside for veterans, and fifteen percent will be open to women.

RPF Recruitment 2024: Recruitment Process

The hiring process will happen in stages, as shown below:

Part I: Computer-based Test (CBT): It will be run by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

Part II: It is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The Railway Protection Force (RPF) will be in charge of it.

Part III: Checking the documents: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) will be in charge of it.

Age Limit

• To become a sub-inspector (executive), you must be at least 20 to 25 years old. But to be a constable (executive), you have to be 18 to 25 years old.
• However, applicants from certain groups are not limited by their age.

Qualifications for Education

• Graduate from a well-known university to be a sub-inspector.
• For a police officer, you should be 10th grade pass or an equivalent from an approved board.

Only a degree from a recognized university will work for a sub-inspector, and a high school diploma from a recognized board will work for a constable.

RPF Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern for CBT

For Sub Inspector, the level of the test will be at the graduate level, and for Constable, it will be at the diploma (Class 10th) level. To be eligible for the CBT, you will need to get 35% of the marks (30% for SC and ST students). The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in charge will decide what the Computer Based Test (CBT) results are. Along with the Nodal Officer of RPF, the RRB will send out the call letter for the PET/PMT.
