Rohit Sharma Early Life and Education: Rohit Sharma was born in Nagpur, Mumbai Maharashtra on 30 April 1987. He is the son of Gurunath Sharma and Purnima Sharman. Rohit grew up at his grandparents’ place due to the financial problems of his parents. He has a younger brother whose name is Vishal Sharma. Rohit completed his education at Swami Vivekanand School (Mumbai) 

He joined a cricket camp in 1999 and in Harris and Gield tournaments, he made a century and grabbed public and coach attention. 

Rohit Sharma Domestic Career 

  • Rohit Sharma made his debut in Deodhar Trophy in Gwalior representing West Zone in March 2005.
  • Rohit made his first-class debut for India A against New Zealand A in July 2006 in Darwin. He scored 51 runs there.
  • He made his debut in the Ranji Trophy in 2006 representing Mumbai. In 2009 he made his highest run score of 309 not out in Ranji Trophy against Gujarat.

Rohit Sharma International Career

In November 2013 Rohit made his test debut against West Indies in Eden Gardens Kolkata and made the second-highest debut score by an Indian cricketer, whereas the first was Shikhar Dhawan.

His next best score was 111 not out in Wankhede Stadium Mumbai at the Second Test.

In March 2015 Rohit was chosen on the player’s list for the World Cup due to his unbelievable knocks and fast and furious batting style. 

From 2017 to 2019 Rohit got much attention, appreciation, and honor from senior players and the public for his satisfying performance and blast batting style performances.

He was among the major players of Team India’s batting lineup. In every tour of India to other countries or in-home series Rohit Sharma gave his best with the bat as well as with fielding, he also played the role of bowler during tests and ODI as an off-spin bowler at 5th position.

Rohit not only became popular in India but he became popular among the world. 

Rohit Sharma became the vice-captain of Team India in 2019.
