RMS CET 2023-24: Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) has extended the registration last date for Common Entrance Test (CET) 2023. As per the revised schedule, students can now register for the RMS CET 2023 exam till October 25. Earlier the last date to fill in the application form was October 18, 2023.
Applicants can now submit the online application and pay the application fee till 25 October 2023.The entrance exam is being held for Rashtriya Military Schools Admissions 2024 for classes 6 and 9. The candidates who will qualify the RMS CET examination will be required to appear for an interview at respective Rashtriya Military Schools. RRMS are fully residential public schools affiliated to CBSE, whereas they used to function under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence.
The RMS CET application form is hosted on the official website– rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in. Candidates and parents should use caution when completing the online application. The candidate’s candidacy may be denied if inaccurate information or discrepancies are discovered during verification or at any later point.
Rashtriya Military Schools Admissions 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For Class 6 Admission- Applicants aged between 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2024 (born between April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2014, both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
For Class 9 Admission- Only boys whose aged between 13 to 15 years as of March 31, 2024 (born between April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2011, both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Rashtriya Military Schools Admissions 2024 Educational Qualification
For Class 6 Admission – Applicant must have cleared Class 5th annual examination or must be studying in Class 5 and pass it before the date of RMS admission.
For Class 9 Admission – Applicant should have cleared Class 8th annual exam from a government-recognized school, before the date of RMS admission.
Rashtriya Military School Admission Process 2024
The admission into Rashtriya Military School for classes 6 and 9 is done on the basis of number of seats available and considering the performance of the candidate on the following stages.
Written test: Students in classes 6 and 9 take an OMR-based written test. For Class 6, the paper is available in both Hindi and English medium, whereas for Class 9, it is available only in English medium.
Interview: RMS will schedule an interview for those candidates who pass the exam. A merit list will be created by adding the interview marks to the written exam results.
Results and Medical Exam: The school assignment and the merit list of qualified applicants will be made public. Every student will take a medical fitness test; those who are found to be medically unfit will not be allowed to enroll.
