About Ranvir Shorey: Ranvir Shorey is a well-known Indian actor who is known for his versatile acting in the Bollywood Industry. He was born and brought up in Jalandhar district of Punjab.
He has also done his schooling in Jalandhar itself from the Dayanand Model Senior Secondary School.
Ranvir Shorey was reportedly dating Pooja Bhatt initially but later he married his girlfriend and actress Konkona Sen Sharma. The couple tied the knot together on 3rd September 2010 while they were engaged way back in 2008.
They had their first child on 15th March in the year 2011 at a hospital in South Mumbai. However, they were separated from each other after 5 years of their marriage.
Ranvir Shorey Career
He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Ek Chotisi Love Story” which was released in 2002. After that, he has also played many small but impactful roles in various Bollywood movies.
In the year 2006, the movie “Khosla ka Ghosla” was released which was a comedy movie and for this movie, Ranvir got a lot of recognition and appreciation.

He also played a role in “Chandni Chowk to China” in 2009 with Akshay Kumar which was also much loved by his fans.
In 2019, he worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie Sonchiriya which also featured Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana, etc. He has also done small roles in movies like “Singh is King”, “Ugly aur Pagli” etc. which was very much liked by the viewers.
Apart from the big screen, Ranvir has also worked in many TV shows as well. In the year 2014, he was a host for the show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa”, a dance show in its 7th season.

Ranvir Shorey has not yet got any commendable role in Bollywood movies. However, he has impressed his audience with the kind of roles that he has done in various movies. This is the reason that he has been nominated for many awards and even won many of them.
He was nominated for the category “Best Supporting Actor” at the Filmfare Awards in 2020 for his role in the movie “Sonchiriya”.
