Indian veteran film and television actor Rajendranath Zutshi, better known by his stage name Raj Zutshi, was born on February 4, 1961, in a Kashmiri pandit family.

Rajendranath Zutshi Private life: Raj Zutshi is the grandson of Dina Nath Zutshi, a radio and theatre performer most known to the general audience for his portrayal of Halim Mirza, Salim Mirza’s brother, in the movie Garam Hawa (1973).

Nuzhat Hussain, the daughter of filmmaker Nasir Hussain, and Raj Zutshi were previously married. He was her second husband and Imran Khan, an actor who was Nuzhat’s child with her first husband, Anil Pal, and his stepfather. Aamir Khan’s first cousin Nuzhat is the sister of filmmaker Mansoor Khan.

Raj Zutshi also made his debut as a cabaret performer. With the premiere of the movie Holi in 1984, he transitioned from theatre to movies.

He notably featured in the 1990 television series Yugantar, which was modeled on the Sunil Gangopadhyay novel, and the 1990 television series Shikast (1997).

Raj Zutshi has acted in numerous Bollywood films. Among them are “Holi,” “Yeh Woh Manzil to Nahin,” “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” from 1988, “Daddy,” “Goonj,” “Shiva,” “Tum Mere Ho,” “Parda Hai Parda,” “Grihalakshmi Ka Jinn,” and “Maachis.”

In the 1997 film “Chachi 420,” starring South Indian actor Kamal Hassan, Raj portrayed the part of “Dr. Rohit.” Later, in the 1990s, Raj sang the songs “Hu Tu Tu,” “Manchala,” and “Dillagi” consecutively.

In 2000, “Dead End” and “Hum To Mohabbat Karega” were released. Raj was cast in three films in 2001: “Grahan,” “One 2 Ka 4,” and “Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India,” which starred Raj’s ex-brother-in-law and received an Oscar nomination. “Shararat,” “Kranti,” and “Nazrana.”

Raj appeared in nine films in succession in 2004. The films are Kiss Kis Ko, Lakeer: Forbidden Lines, Rudraksh, Love in Nepal, Murder, Krishna Cottage, Lakshya, Deewaar: Let’s Bring Our Heroes Home and American Daylight. Lakshya stars Hrithik Roshan.

He appeared in the films “Zinda,” “36 China Town,” “Sandwich,” and “Rockin’ Meera” in 2006.
