Indian cricketer Krunal Himanshu Pandya (born 24 March 1991) competes for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL and Baroda in the local competition.

About Krunal Pandya: In November 2018, he made his debut for the Indian cricket team abroad. In 2021, he recorded the quickest cricketer half-century in an ODI. Pandya made his first-class debut on October 6, 2016, while representing Baroda in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy competition. A few months later, he was the team’s top run-scorer and wicket-taker in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Pandya was bought by Mumbai Indians for 2 crore at the 2016 IPL auction. In April 2016, he played his first IPL match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium against the Gujarat Lions.

In his second first-class match, he had scored 160 runs with 21 boundaries against Railways in the Ranji Trophy and was the top run scorer for Baroda in the first innings with a strike rate of 73.06.

In a ceremony on December 27, 2017, he wed Pankhuri Sharma. Kavir Krunal Pandya, the son of the couple, was born on July 24, 2022.
