British cricketer Joseph Charles Buttler MBE was born on September 8th, 1990. He is the captain of the England cricket team and a member of the England Test squad.

Introduction of Jos Buttler: When it comes to white-ball cricket, Joseph Charles Buttler is largely considered one of the best hitters in the world. He has played for both the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, among other Twenty20 events, and now represents Lancashire in the domestic cricket championship after having previously played for Somerset.

Buttler first appeared in a Twenty20 International in 2011, a One-Day International in 2012, and a Test Match in 2014. He played a key role in England’s 2019 Cricket World Cup victory by executing the run-out that proved decisive in the game’s decisive Super Over. In June of 2022, he was chosen to captain England’s limited-overs teams.

Buttler’s early cricketing ability was recognized during his time at King’s College, Taunton. Buttler attended King’s College after being born in Taunton, Somerset on September 8th, 1990.

The career of Jos Buttler-

To play Pakistan at Lord’s later that month, Buttler was restored to the England Test team in May of 2018. Two half-centuries and the series high in runs helped him shine in his Test cricket comeback, and he was named Man of the Match at Headingly. England was already in the lead thanks to his undefeated 80 in the first innings.

As Ben Stokes rested in December 2020, the 11th saw Buttler promoted to the position of vice-captain for the upcoming January 2021 tour of Sri Lanka. He batted 30, 55, and 46 not out in England’s 2-0 victory at Galle.

Despite a rough summer, he was nevertheless given the wicket-keeping responsibilities for the whole trip, and he more than held his own, making 9 catches and performing his first Test stumping.

As part of England’s rotation and resting strategy, it was confirmed on January 21 that Buttler would be going home following the first test of the forthcoming series in India.

The first one-day international (ODI) in a three-game series against the Netherlands featured Buttler on June 17, 2022. England would go on to score 498 runs, which is the biggest total in ODI history, and he would knock 162 not out in 70 balls, which is his personal ODI record.
