Hollywood actor Johnny Depp was born in Owensboro, city in Kentucky. He took a job as a ballpoint pen salesperson when he married Lori A. Depp in order to provide for his wife. Early life and career

During this time, Depp worked with Burton again in Sweeney Todd (2007), an adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical. Depp, who played the serial killer Sweeney, was praised for both his acting and singing, and was nominated for an Oscar again.
