Introduction to Jassy B: Jazzy B was born in Punjab. He grew up in Canada. Later he moved to Birmingham (England) and now lives in Jalandhar. Jazzy likes to wear jewelry and rings on all fingers and small diamonds in both ears. He has an implanted tooth made of gold and also wears a heavy gold chain with a Khanda pendant.
Early Life of Jassy B
Jazzy B belongs to the Sikh family. Not much is known about his parents. He has 3 brothers Goma, Gaba Bains, and Jujhar Singh Kandola. He also has two sisters Rimpy Bains and Roma.
He attended Simon Cunningham Elementary School, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and Princess Margaret High School, Canada. Jazzy B was inclined towards music at a very young age and listened to Kuldip Manak. When he was just 4 years old, Kuldeep Manak was performing in his village Durgapur.
This further led to his interest in music. While in Canada, he played in air bands, did the bhangra, and sang Punjabi songs at school. While Jazzy was finishing his graduation, he worked as a part-time construction worker for Tarlok Singh Kooner. It was Kooner who recognized Jazzy’s talent and advised him to release his music album.
Jazzy B spent $5,000 on his first album. In 1993, jazzy released his first debut track “Gugiyan da Jora”. He then moved to Birmingham, England to pursue his singing career.
The career of Jassy B
Jassy B had a deep interest in music since childhood and used to listen to Kuldeep Manak’s music along with his uncle. When he was 4 years old, Kuldeep Manak was the one who came for his musical performances in the village. After watching his performance, Bains thought of becoming a singer, one day.
Jassy worked as a part-time construction worker for Tarlok Singh Kooner while he was finishing his graduation. He started his singing career in 1993. After the release of his first song, Sukshiner Shinda advised him to go to England if he wanted to pursue a music career.
Jassy left his graduation in the middle and relocated to England to pursue a career in singing. At the beginning of his career, he lived in a small room with 6 other men. He performed his first overseas live performance at the Surrey Arts Centre. After that, he reached the peak of his achievements.
