Hyundai Motor Company -Introduction

It is a subsidiary type of automobile company. The Indian headquarters of Hyundai Motor Company is located near Gurugram, Haryana, India. At the time of 1996, there were only five automobile companies in India. They were Maruti, Hindustan, Tata Mahindra, and Premier.

Mr. Unsoo Kim is the MD and CEO of Hyundai Motor India. There are 906 authorized showrooms in India. At present, the company owns 33.88% of Kia Corporation. The Hyundai Santro was the first car that Hyundai Motors launched in India on September 23, 1998.

After the launch of the Hyundai Santro, Hyundai Motors became the second largest automobile manufacturer and automobile exporter in India in 1998.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has two manufacturing plants, one in Irungattaukottai and the second one in Sriperumbudur. Both are in Tamil Nadu, India.

The success rate of Hyundai Motor Company 

When it launched its first car, the Hyundai Santro, the price was Rs 4.89 lakh. The Hyundai Santro gave great success to Hyundai. Hyundai created its vehicles to meet the demands and needs of its customers while remaining affordable. From 1996 to 2022, Hyundai launched the best vehicles across all segments, like luxury, budget-friendly, compact, etc.

They also have good quality, reliability, safety, capable engines, sleek interiors, and are loaded with standard features. This helps Hyundai to grow faster in India.

At present, there are 12 Hyundai models. In that, there are 6 hatchbacks, 2 SUVs, and 3 sedans. The starting price of Hyundai cars in India is Rs. 4.90 lakh.

The customers of Hyundai Motors like all the cars of Hyundai. Because the cars are affordable, middle-class people can purchase them. From the survey of Whatcar reliability, Hyundai scored 95.7% and ranked as one of the top 10 most reliable global automakers. From this survey, we can make out that the customers liked Hyundai cars.

The revenue for March 2022 is 30.3LCrn. Net income is 1.58Lcr and the net profit margin is 5.23%. So, from this, you can make out that this is a growing company. So, you can hold stocks for the long term as well as the short term. The closing price of Hyundai stock is 196000 KRW (8 August 2022), and the opening price of Hyundai stock is 195000 KRW (9 August 2022).
