Dunki Box Office: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Crosses Rs 422.90 Crore Worldwide

Dunki Box Office: Dunki, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, is still doing well at the box office. The number went up by more than 50% on Saturday. The 17th day of Rajkumar Hirani’s movie brought in Rs 3.50 crore, bringing the total to an amazing Rs 212 crore. Red Chillies Entertainment just said that Dunki has made Rs 422.90 crore around the world.

Dunki got off to a good start, earning Rs. 29.2 crore on its first day. However, the next day, it only made Rs. 20.12 crore, which was a big drop. The movie did, however, keep people coming to the theaters and made Rs 160.22 crore in its first week. The income dropped below Rs 50 crore in the second week.

Now, Dunki wants to make more money than Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The movie Chennai Express made Rs 227 crore in India and Rs 424.54 crore around the world. After making more money than Chennai Express, the movie will become Shah Rukh Khan’s third-highest domestic grosser. Jawan and Pathaan are currently at the top of the list.

This is the first time that Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have worked together on a project. Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu all play important parts in the movie.

PaniPuri, a company that tracks box office sales in North America, says that Dunki has made more than $8 million in the area. This is Shah Rukh Khan’s third $8-million movie in North America. The first two were Pathaan and Jawan.

At the box office, Prabhas’s big hit Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire and Dunki—went up against each other. Each of Shah Rukh’s movies, Pathaan and Jawan, made over Rs. 10 crore around the world in 2023. Ramesh Bala, a trade expert, said that Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki made an amazing $117 million around the world. This is something that no other Indian star has done in a single year, besides China.
