Diljit Dosanjh (born on 6th January, 1984) is an Indian singer, actor, producer of films, and television host who works in Punjabi and Hindi film industry.
Early Years
In 2003–2004, Diljit Dosanjh released the album Ishq Da Uda Adaa and Dil, which marked the beginning of his career as a Punjabi singer. Both albums were huge successes. He released a lot of top albums and singles between 2004 and 2010. Nachdiyan Alharan Kuwariyan and Paggan Pochaniyan Wale, two songs from his 2005 album Smile, were highly popular.
Debut as an actor
With the release of the Punjabi film ‘Lion of Punjab’ in 2011, he began his acting career. This film was a flop. However, he appeared in several well-received Punjabi movies, including Jatt & Juliet, Jatt & Juliet 2, Sardaar Ji, and Sardaar Ji 2, Punjab 1984, Ambarsariya, Super Singh, Soorma, Sajjan Singh Rangroot, and Shadaa.
He was a judge on the singing reality show Rising Star for seasons 1, 2, and 3. He is also a television personality. In Addition to these, he has made guest appearances on several reality television programs, including The Kapil Sharma Show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, Voice of Punjab on PTC, Koffee with Karan Season 6, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.

His mother’s name is Sukhwinder Kaur, and Mr Balbir Singh Dosanjh, his father was a bus driver for Punjab Roadways. She looks after the home chores. Manjeet Singh is Diljit’s younger brother and has one older sister. He began his singing career by leading Kirtan in the neighborhood of Gurudwaras.
