CM Shinde Positions Maharashtra as India’s Growth Hub: On Friday, Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, said that the state has become the growth engine of the country by taking the lead in all areas, such as infrastructure and foreign direct investments (FDI).

Shinde told reporters after raising the tricolor to mark India’s 75th Republic Day that his government is open to everyone and will help Prime Minister Narendra Modi reach his goal of making India’s economy worth $5 trillion. The Indian Constitution went into effect on January 26, 1950, which is why the country celebrates Republic Day on that day.
