Big terrorist attack in Pakistan, assailants destroyed fighter planes in the airbase

There has been news of a major terrorist attack in Pakistan. Quoting sources, it has been revealed that a large number of terrorists are entering Mianwali airbase. Unidentified assailants targeted the Pakistan Air Force training site in Mianwali. This has also resulted in injuries to some persons.

Social media users were reporting that several “suicide bombers” attacked a Pakistani Air Force installation in Mianwali in Punjab province this morning. According to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), they returned fire, killing three terrorists.

Many fighter planes were damaged in the terrorist attack, according to persons with knowledge of the situation at Mianwali Airbase. It was stated that the firing began in the early morning hours following an attack by five or six highly armed guys. The PAF confirmed the attack and stated that they stopped the terrorists before they could take control of the airbase. To fully clear the region, a large coordinated search operation is underway.

According to reports in the media, the terrorist strike destroyed a large number of aircraft that were parked within the Air Force facility. Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP), a terrorist organization located in Pakistan, has claimed responsibility for the incident. On social media, unconfirmed videos of the assault are being extensively shared.

After this attack, the army said in a statement that the Pakistan Armed Forces are committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country at all costs. The statement said that ‘on the morning of 4th November, Mianwali Training Air Base of Pakistan Air Force came under the attack of a failed terrorist attack.

It was foiled by the effective response of troops and the safety of personnel and property was ensured. Three terrorists were killed by the Army before they could reach the facility in an act of incredible bravery and prompt action, while the remaining three terrorists were surrounded by the troops due to timely and effective response.”

According to the Pakistan Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), at least 386 security personnel have died in terrorist attacks in the first nine months of 2023, which is the highest level in eight years. At least 445 people lost their lives and 440 were injured in more than 190 terrorist attacks and counter-terrorism operations in Pakistan in the third quarter of 2023.
