This show first premiered on 6th June 1998 on HBO, After that Sex and the City became a yardstick of a generation by centering the sex lives and mutual relationships of a group of female friends. This show ran for almost six seasons, won seven Emmys, made Uncertain Fashion a staple for TV characters, demolished Cosmos forever, and released two movies of controversial merit, before creator Darren Starr almost got the whole gang back together for the follow-up series And Just Like That.
And Cattrall also made it completely clear that she was done playing the fabulous Ms. Jones, but never say no in Hollywood. SATC fans and AJLT apologists everywhere smashed a heel falling out of a window when they heard the news that Cattrall had filmed a cameo for the finale episode of the upcoming season of And Just Like That. And Cattrall reported that she did this so accidentally, without seeing or speaking to anyone in the cast.
