The moving beat is so powerful that it gets to the core of your being and brings out your wild animal side. Some people only listen to techno when it makes their heart beat faster. Techno Day: History
Many people think that DJ and record artist Juan Atkins made one of the first techno songs, “No UFOs,” in 1985. Atkins was one of the Belleville Three. They got their name from the time they spent together in Belleville, Michigan, a neighbourhood of Detroit more to the west. Not only does this area make some of the world’s best cars, it’s also known as the home of technology. Many people think that black areas in America are where this style of music got its start and is now becoming more and more famous.
Techno started out as a single style of music, but now it’s a broad term for a lot of different types of music that no one could have imagined when it was first made!
Through sampling and mixing, older musical styles have been brought back to life in ways that are important to modern musical theater while still sounding familiar. Even after 20 years, techno is still thought of as a thoughtful and smart style of music. It is also sometimes called “intelligent dance music.” Some people even like to use techno as part of their music therapy.
Techno-music is living and important, no matter where it comes from. It’s so good that even music from video games has been added.
