The Supreme Court on Thursday has asked suspended Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha to apologize to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar to restore his membership in Parliament. The top court said that you should tender an unconditional apology to the Chairman for allegedly using the names of MPs without their permission.
The court said that the Chairman would consider his issue and also resolve it. The top court said that Chadha is a first-time MP and a young member of the Rajya Sabha and the Chairperson will consider his apology seriously.
On this suggestion of the Supreme Court, Attorney General Venkataswamy said that since the matter is of the House, Chadha will have to apologize in the Rajya Sabha only. On this the Supreme Court said that it feels that this matter will be resolved amicably.
