Sadbhav Infrastructure
Today for Tomorrow
Roads are the spine of any economy, and the rapidly expanding Indian economy has increased the demand for strong road infrastructure. Indeed, funds for upgrading National Highways cannot be obtained solely from public funds, the government has decided to involve the private sector in the development of NH.
About Sadbhav Infrastructure
Today, Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited (SIPL) is an associate of SEL. In 2007, this organization was formed as an asset-holding company for road and infrastructure, BOT projects. SIPL’s primary responsibility has been to develop, operate, and maintain road infrastructure acquisitions.
SIPL offers full-service contracting for projects that are not civil structures. Sadbhav’s main goal in the road BOT project is to build up a large asset base. Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited already has 10 BOT projects with a total of 2595 lane kilometers. 92 are fully in running condition, one is partially running, and three are still being built.
Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Ltd. builds and takes care of national and state roads and highways in several Indian states. They make most of their money from BOT road concessions. Depending on whether the concession is based on tolls or annuities, they make money in one of the two ways. Their projects that are already in use cover about 2,290 lane kilometers, while their projects that are still in the planning stages cover about 1,448 lane kilometers.
The upcoming projects
Due to less competition in the BOT Roads and Highways sector, SIPL is in a good position to win projects with the return it wants. In the road sector, there is a chance to buy assets that could be useful. They also try to get the best return for their investors through careful financial planning (Investment Trust, Securitization, Refinancing, Bonds, Stake Sale at the asset level, etc.).
They want to bid on big projects with strong partners from both inside and outside the country. On 17th August 2022, each share of Sadbhav Infra was worth Rs 6.95. From its previous price of Rs. 7.0, Sadbhav Infra’s share price fell by 0.71 percent. In the past month, the price of Sadbhav Infra shares has dropped by 6.71 percent.
SIPL has strong project management capabilities, such as bold follow-up with authorities for land possession and other support, ensuring projects are finished promptly within the budget. Substantially footed in financial management, such as bond issuance, refinancing, foreign trade loans, loans with long-term and back-ended refunds, and in-house O&M providing optimum utilization of resources with a dedicated team, the company is a strong competitor in the infrastructure industry.
