Introduction of Rohit Shrivastava: The NanoBios Lab is under the direction of Rohit Srivastava, who works for the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at IIT Bombay. The research facility is responsible for the production and distribution of a variety of helpful goods, including the mobile-based portable urine analysis system UChek, a low-cost reader for analyzing urine dipsticks, and the home-grown, low-cost glucometer Suchek.
He shares ownership of 20 patents in India with his fellow employees, whereas he only holds one patent in the United States.

Rohit Srivastava was able to get his Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in the United States in 2005 with the help of Michael J. McShane. Before that, he attended Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering in Nagpur, India, and received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics in the year 1999.
