He established his Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A). He achieved success there concurrently with the Shri Ram Centre in Delhi and the Kshitij Theatre Group.

Graduate of the University of Delhi, Rajkummar Rao Rajkummar Rao enrolled in a two-year acting program after graduating in 2008. At the Film and Television Institute of India, he further did acting. He received formal taekwondo instruction.
