PM Modi to visit Maharashtra and Goa tomorrow to lay foundation stone for several development projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra and Goa tomorrow, October 26. As per the reports, PM Modi will reach Shirdi in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar district tomorrow afternoon where he will offer prayers and darshan at the Sri Saibaba Samadhi Temple and will inaugurate the new darshan queue complex at the temple.
The brand-new Shirdi Darshan queue complex is a cutting-edge, sophisticated megastructure created to give pilgrims relaxing waiting rooms. It has a number of waiting rooms with a combined seating capacity of more than ten thousand devotees.
It is equipped with air-conditioned public amenities like a changing room, restrooms, a booking desk, a prasad desk, an information center, etc. The Prime Minister laid the cornerstone for this new Darshan Q Complex in October 2018.
The Nilwande Dam’s Jal Pujan will be conducted by the PM Modi, who will also devote the canal system of the dam to the nation. He will participate in a public ceremony in Shirdi where he will dedicate to the country, launch, and will lay the cornerstone for a number of development projects totaling roughly Rs 7500 crore in sectors such as health, rail, roads and oil and gas.
During the public program, PM Modi will also introduce the “Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana”. By contributing an extra 6,000 rupees a year, this will assist more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Goa tomorrow night and will kick off the 37th National Games at Margao’s Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. He will also speak with the competitors in the Games.
For the first time ever, the National Games are being held in Goa. These games will be held between 26 October 26 to November 9, 2023. At 28 venues, more than 10,000 participants from all around the nation will compete in more than 43 sports.
