Delhi-Meerut RRTS: The first section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor is all set to offer two-class facilities to the general public from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot. The coaches will be divided into two classes of which first will be ordinary and the second will be premium class.

The minimum fare for ordinary class has been kept at Rs 20 while the maximum has been kept at Rs 50. Whereas, for the premium class, minimum ticket price has been listed as Rs 40 while the maximum has been listed as Rs 100. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the RRTS to be run between Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai depot on 20 October 2023.

The common people will be able to avail the benefit of Rapidx (Delhi Meerut Rapidx) service from 21 October. The ‘semi-high-speed’ regional rail service of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has been named ‘RAPIDX’.

As per the reports, the NCRTC official has informed that in this RAPIDX train service, an attempt has been made to provide better and premium train service to the passengers. The first section from Sahibabad to Duhai depot will open for the general public from October 21.

Passengers traveling in Rapidx train, which starts in 2 classes, will have to pay ordinary fare ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 50, while for traveling in premium class, they will have to pay Rs 40 to Rs 100.

The primary section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will be inaugurated on October 20. Passengers can travel in RapidX train from 6 AM on 21st October. RapidX will run from 6 AM to 11 PM. If a passenger entered the Sahibabad station and exit from the same station, they will have to pay Rs 20 for ordinary and Rs 40 for premium class.
