Israel-Hamas War: Amidst the Israel-Hamas War, Hamas has banned the evacuation of foreign citizens from Gaza. News agency AFP quoted an official as saying that Hamas on Saturday banned the ousting of foreign passport holders from Gaza.
News agency AFP quoted the official as saying that no foreign passport holder will be able to leave Gaza amid the Israeli crackdown. The official said that they would not be able to leave Gaza until then. Unless injured people being evacuated from hospitals in northern Gaza are taken to Egypt through the Rafah border.
Also, an Egyptian security source confirmed to news agency AFP that no injured person or foreign passport holder has reached the Rafah border. He said that after the bombing of an ambulance carrying injured people towards the Egyptian terminal on the Rafah border, there has been a ban on the evacuation of foreign passport holders from Gaza.
Ambulance was attacked
The Israeli army attacked an ambulance located outside Gaza’s largest Al Shifa hospital. Israel claimed that it was being used by Hamas. According to the health ministry in Gaza, at least 15 people were killed and 60 injured in the attack.
