International Choral Day: The Choral Day is observed every year on the second week of December and this year it is observed on 12th December. If there is one thing that can unite the world, then it is music. In every part of the centuries, music has the power to bring people together from many different cultural backgrounds and geographies across the globe increasing peace and social togetherness with the pick of a loop or hum of a note. Music helps people to bond in numerous different ways, from building friends at different musical concerts to allowing adults and children to dance and have fun together in their own homes.

If there is a feature of talent that can be said to be always wonderful, then it should be to be musically ready. There are no words that can report how good music can be when shared in the cause of peace and togetherness. World Choral Day is dedicated to these very principles, a worldwide goal that brings peace and harmony through the musical arts.
International Choral Day History
Choral Day was celebrated for the first time in the year 1990 in Helsinki by Alberto Grau. Alberto Grau is a composer, teacher, and choral director from Venezuela. He is also the founder of the Schola Cantorum de Caracas, which is a Venezuelan choral group that has reached some popularity among music lovers. Alberto and his group have worked very hard on projects that have been the basis for creating many development projects of musical art. Alberto also headed to the Schola Cantorum Foundation of Caracas and foundation coral cant emos movements, among others. Now it’s almost 26 years and Choral Day has become a global event where choir groups from around the globe take part in this.
This day helps people bring together to honor the harmony and peace that music brings. Choral Day is also observed in historically conflicted places that expect music will bring peace to these places, and people will benefit from the music lessons and look for comfort. Choral Day also reminds us that music helps people to bond in numerous different ways, and it is entirely common to make friends with those who share the same taste in music.
This day is also celebrated at different musical concerts where both adults and children can enjoy and find new music. Many of us respect musical talent, and it is honestly such a beautiful way to convey our feelings. And music can also bring people together and display how we all get satisfaction from a melodious existence. And Choral Day is committed to these principles and our shared aim of showing peace and harmony through music.
