Diwali 2023 Special Train List:This month Indian Railway has announced the special train for the upcoming festivals to avoid the massive demand for trains in the northern region of India. In the announcement Indian railways has said that there will be 34 special trains and it will run around 377 trips from October mid to November. These special trains will connect some of the major cities across the country.

Along with these trains Indian railway will also add additional coaches to the existing sixty nine trains and also the northern railway will create around five lakh additional berths and seats considering the increase in the demand of seats during the festive season around the country.

Diwali Special Train List for UP & Bihar

Here are the special train which will connect some of the major city across the country.

Delhi, New delhi, katra (shri mata vaishno devi), Patna, Varanasi, chhapara, Jogwani,Ambala, Saharanpur, Amritsar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Raxaul, Barauni, Gorakhpur, Darbhanga, Katihar Jaynagar, Guwahati and saharsa.

Other than these trains, the Indian Railways also announced the start of special trains connecting Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Patna, Gaya and Jaynagar especially for the Chhath Puja and Diwali festival from Delhi, Uttarpradesh to Bihar in the month of October and November 2023.

* Festival Special train from Saharsa to Anand Vihar Terminal.

This train for the passengers who is looking to visit saharsa to anand vihar.This train from saharsa to anand vihar will start from saharsa on every tuesday at 14:30 and it will reach its destination at next day anand vihar terminal at 13.55h.The train during the journey will cover these number of stations are Moradabad, Bareilly, Hardoi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur,  Siwan, Deoria Sadar, chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Dalsingh Sarai, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria and Simri bakhtiyarpur stations.

* Second train is firozpur cantt to patna festival special train.

For festive season the Indian Railways have decided to start special train for passengers who is looking firozpur cantt to patna or patna to firozpur. This train firozpur cantt to patna festival Special will start from firozpur cantt every wednesday at 14:25h and it will reach its destination the next day at 17:00h and the

similar train from patna to firozpur cantt will also depart from patna at 18:45 and it will reach its destination next day at 10:04.This train will take halt at these stations from both sides: Kot Kapura, Bathinda, Rampur Phul, Dhuri, Patiala, Lucknow, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Buxar, Arrah, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt, Yamunanagar, jagadhri, saharanpur, moradabad and bareilly stations.

The increase of special trains during festivals is because of the increase in passengers movement during festivals and it will help passengers so that they can not face any inconvenience to get the ticket on time, and to make it to easier for them to reach their destination without facing any problem and it will also help to clear the rush in festive season for the confirmed tickets.
