Himanshi Khurana is a model, actress, and singer. She is most recognized for her performances in films that have been dubbed into the Punjabi language.
Introduction to Himanshi: She was the main character in the Punjabi movie Sadda Haq. She participated as a contestant in the thirteenth season of the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss, which took place in the year 2019.
The early life of Himanshi
On 27th November 1991, Himanshi was born in the city of Kiratpur Sahib in the Indian state of Punjab. Her mother, Suneet Kaur, has always served as a source of motivation for her. During the November 2019 episode of Bigg Boss 13, Khurana revealed to the audience that she and Chow, her boyfriend of nine years, are engaged.
In January 2020, she revealed the news on Twitter that they parted away and had called off the engagement. Since the beginning of the year 2020, she has been romantically involved with another Bigg Boss participant Asim Riaz.
Career of Himanshi
At 16, Khurana began her career as a model when she was crowned Miss Ludhiana. She competed for Miss PTC Punjabi 2010 and placed in the top five. She won the Chandigarh-based Miss North Zone competition the same year.
In 2010, she released her first single, “Jodi – Big Day Party” (Panjabi MC & Kuldeep Manak), which marked her entrance into the Punjabi music scene. Later, the same year, in 2012, she was featured in the music videos for Fasli Bateray by Feroz Khan and Izhaar (Harjot).
Khurana’s career took off in earnest in 2015, when she collaborated with a slew of popular artists including Jassi Gill, Badshah, J Star, Ninja, Mankirt Aulakh, and more. In 2013, she appeared in Soch (Hardy Sandhu) and the blockbuster film Sadda Haq.
She co-starred in the 2016 film Sad Song with Sukh-E (Muzical Doctorz) in March. Khurana released her first single, “High Standard,” in 2018.
Khurana first came to prominence after starring in the successful Punjabi film Sadda Haq. Even though Jeet Lengey Jahaan was her debut Bollywood film (2012). She subsequently starred as the main character in the Punjabi film Leather Life (featuring Aman Dhaliwal as the male lead).
Khurana also had a starring role in the 2015 Punjabi film 2 Bol. As an actress, she appeared in a total of six South Indian films (two Kannada, two Tamil, one Telugu, and one Malayalam).
Khurana was a competitor on the thirteenth season of Bigg Boss, India’s version of Big Brother, in November 2019.
