A great singer Hakam Sufi was born on 3rd March 1952. He was basically from Punjab. He remained single throughout his life. He was keenly interested in music from his school days. Then, He made his singing passion into a profession. He had dedicated his whole life to music. He helped his siblings to attain their goals. His very good friend was Gurdas Mann, they both are from the same village that is Sri Muktsar Sahib district of Indian Punjab.

Hakim Sufi, a great singer died on 4th September, 2012 at the age of 60 in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab.
