Fariha Pervez is a pop singer, lyricist and music producer from Pakistan. She is renowned for performing numerous well-known and popular ghazals.
Early years and her career
Fariha Pervez was born in Lahore, Pakistan, on 2nd February 1974. Her father, according to her, is the source of her singing prowess. Pervez began his classical music study in 1995 with Master Feroze Gill. She comes from a showbiz family of artists in Pakistan. As the lone sibling of two brothers, she enjoys spending her free time with them.
In the 1990s, Fariha Pervez began her career as an anchor and actor. However, she had shifted to music by the middle of the decade. She started as an actor and appeared in many drama serials, including the well-known children’s drama Ainak Wala Jin.
In 1996, Pervez issued her debut studio album, ‘Nice & Naughty’. She has so far released seven albums, and several of the songs from each album have become hits. She has performed in Pakistani films, including Chief Sahib (1996), Scilab, Ghunghat, Sangam, Inteha & Moosa Khan, during her musical career (2001 film).
Education
Fariha graduated with a degree in psychology, but she started learning to sing from her father at a young age after listening to his songs. Later, she began analyzing the classical symphony by Master Feroz Gul.
Fariha Pervez Family
Fariha belongs to a generation of excellent painters. She is the niece of Talat Siddique and Rehana Siddique, two well-known actors. Her cousin sisters are Arifa Siddique and Naheed Siddique. After getting married to musician Noman Javed in 2015, fate soon tore the couple apart, and she turned to the civil court to obtain a divorce.
