Euphoria Season 3 Release Date
Euphoria Season 3 has already been announced by HBO and is expected to premiere in 2026 after a lengthy hold up. Originally pegged for a late-2025 debut, that timeline was moved back thanks to a perfect storm of the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes, the shocking death of Angus Cloud, and creator Sam Levinson working on at least three other shows. With filming having officially started in early February 2025, the excruciatingly long wait will finally be over sometime in 2026.

Euphoria Season 2 Recap
Euphoria Season 2 was a chaos, heartbreak, emotional-unraveling, chaotic, brilliantly plotted-out, chaotic, dynamic, poetic disaster. Rue sank further into addiction, ruining her relationship with Jules and new friend Elliot, while Cassie turned heads by secretly dating her best friend Maddy’s abusive ex Nate, resulting in must-see drama and a now-iconic breakdown on stage. Lexi emerged from the shadows with a mind blowing school play that aired out everyone’s dirty laundry. Using the content from the antagonist versus protagonist feud as inspiration, Lexi’s subplot turned into a risky but excitingly combustible school play that unearthed everyone’s deepest, darkest secrets. HBO Fez’s arc took a heartbreaking twist with a police raid that ended in Ashtray’s death and Fez being arrested. Having put an end to the hold his abusive father Cal’s secrets had over him by getting him arrested, Nate has fully cemented his emotional numbness. The season culminated with Rue promising to be sober for the time being with the lack of an easy solution continuing to haunt her relationships and her memory.
Season 3 is expected to move forward about five years, with characters now in their late 20s to early 30s, long past the end of high school. This opens up the story to some heavier adult themes. Something we can expect from season two Zendaya teased quite a bit of darker, noir-inspired storytelling as Rue moves through a “much bigger world”.
