Delhi: Kejriwal announces Rs 7,000 Diwali bonus for Group B non gazetted, Group C employees
The Delhi government on Monday gave a big Diwali gift to its employees. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced bonus for 80,000 Group C and Group D employees. The CM said that the Delhi government will give a bonus of Rs 7,000 each to these employees. He said that it will cost Rs 56,000 to the government.
He said that in all the wonderful work done by the Delhi government in the last 8 years, the employees of the Delhi government have played the most important role.
“Due to their hard work, we have succeeded in making Delhi a city of dreams. This month is the month of festivals and during the festive season, we will give a bonus of Rs 7 thousand each to all our Group B non-gazetted and Group C employees,” he added.
5,000 sanitation workers of MCD will be permanent
Earlier, Kejriwal had announced to appoint about 5,000 sanitation workers of the Municipal Corporation. Kejriwal said that there was the BJP government in the Municipal Corporation for 15 years and during this period the saffron party left no stone unturned in exploiting the sanitation workers.
Kejriwal said that ever since the Delhi government has announced the confirmation of sanitation workers, the sanitation workers are very happy.. The CM said that since the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in the Municipal Corporation in January, till now the government has confirmed 6,494 sanitation workers.
