Arvind Kejriwal writes letter to ED

Kejriwal had to appear before the ED today but even before this Kejriwal had written a reply to ED. ED has received the written reply from CM Kejriwal. Now ED is considering what further action to take in this matter.

In his reply, he had said that this notice has been sent against him only at the behest of BJP. He also said that ED should immediately withdraw its notice in this matter. On the summons of ED, Kejriwal had said that this is also being done so that I cannot campaign. The notice is illegal and politically motivated.

CM Kejriwal has said in his reply to ED that it is not clear in what capacity you have summoned me, as a witness or as a suspect. No details have been given in this summons. It was also not told whether I had been called personally or as the Chief Minister or as the chief of the Aam Aadmi Party. He further wrote that the day the summons was issued by ED, BJP leaders started giving statements that I would be arrested. CM Kejriwal alleged that ED summons were leaked to BJP leaders on the evening of October 30 to tarnish his image. On the afternoon of 30 October, Manoj Tiwari had given a statement that I would be arrested.

CM Kejriwal further said that I am the Chief Minister of Delhi and the National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and elections are to be held in five states where I am a star campaigner. I have to travel to these states and give political guidance to my workers. I have official administrative and official responsibilities which require my presence even during the upcoming Diwali.

“Centre wants to eliminate AAP”

Let us tell you that after the ED summons received by CM Arvind Kejriwal, senior AAP leader and Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had said that the central government has only one objective – to eliminate the Aam Aadmi Party at any cost. For this they are leaving no stone unturned, which also includes fraud. The idea is to send Arvind Kejriwal to jail and destroy the Aam Aadmi Party.

He had claimed in a interview that Kejriwal would be arrested by the central agency. When asked if the party had a Plan B ready in case something like this happens, he said, “At the moment, I don’t know and I don’t think there has been any discussion about it. Kejriwal is our leader and we work under his guidelines.” Let us tell you that Delhi Minister Atishi has also claimed about the possible arrest of the Chief Minister, she said that he will be taken into custody after interrogation. She alleged that this will happen, not because the agency has any evidence against him. Yes, but because he has spoken against BJP.
