Avesh Khan is an Indian Player who plays the role of right-arm fast-medium bowler for the Indian Cricket Team and, he is known for his variations in bowling techniques.

Introduction of Avesh Khan: Avesh Khan is one of the most effective players with a new ball. He used to target the off-stump area which always resulted in the batsman either getting a playdown or caught behind.  In the 2019 World Cup Avesh’s name was there among other players.

He was a single player who never played with the senior Indian Team. He became a member of Board President 11 and got a chance to play with the Indian Cricket Team. Delhi Capitals chose Avesh to play under 11 in 2021.

Early Life of Avesh Khan 

Avesh Khan was born to Mohammad Ashiq Khan. Due to his good bowling techniques, Avesh’s uncle recommended him there with a leather ball. In Amardip Pathania’s coaching, he played under Indore Colts Cricket Club. Amay Khurasia was a selector of MPCA and a former Indian and Madhya Pradesh cricketer. In between the MPCA trials, Avesh impressed the selectors in just two balls of his two overs. 

When Avesh was just 15 years old his father lost his job, which made a great impact on him and his family, but as he was focused on his career, he started saving his all-match fees to complete his family’s needs. 

The Career of Avesh Khan 

  • In 2014 for U19 Avesh made his debut by impressing selectors through his magnificent cricket performances. His best match was against Bangladesh where he took a total of 4 wickets in just 6 overs in which 3 overs were Maiden.  Also, he got selected to play in the U19 World Cup where he took only a wicket but also made efficient bowling in depth overs. 
  • Later in some time when Avesh was 17 years of age, he was selected to play with the Madhya Pradesh Ranji Trophy team he played in the first match against Railways where in 5 matches he took a total of 15 wickets.
  • Again after 2 years at an event of World Cup Avesh was selected to play, as he was supporting Khaleel Ahmed with his pace, he became the highest wicket-taker and took a total of 12 wickets.
  • As time passed there was brilliance seen in Avesh’s Khan performance. The year 2018 -2019 was the best time for Avesh Khan, he took 37 wickets and there was a hall of 10 wickets too. In 2019 He was selected in India A team to play against West Indies where Avesh took a total of 4 wickets.

Achievements of Avesh Khan 

  • Avesh Khan became the highest wicket-taker for team India in 2016 at a tournament of the U-19 World Cup.
  • He was present in the highest wicket-taker list in IPL 2021. 
  • Also, he took the highest wicket for the International Team of India in the 4th ODI against South Africa in June 2022.
