American singer and performer Britney Jean Spears grew up in Louisiana and was born in Mississippi. She made her first appearance on national television in 1992 as a contestant on Star Talent Search. From 1993 until 1994, she was a cast member of the Disney Channel show ‘The New Mickey’.

In 2002, Spears starred in the box office bomb Crossroads, yet some critics gave her credit for the part. Making $11 million, the film brought in $57 million.
2005 saw the release of Spears’ first remix album, B in Mix: The Remix. Worldwide sales of the album exceeded one million copies. Spears also made an appearance on “Will and Grace” in the “Bye, Bye Baby” episode. Her 2007 album Blackout won Album of the Year at the MTV Europe Awards after selling three million copies globally.
He gave a rendition of “Gimme More” at the MTV VMAs the same year. When “Circus,” her sixth studio album, was published in 2008, it rocketed to the top of the charts in both the Czech Republic and Canada. She became the youngest female musician to have five of her albums debut at number one, shattering the Guinness Book of World Records in the process.

The two celebrities announced their romance to the world in 2000, and when they broke up in 2002, suspicions that Spears was having an affair began to spread. In 2004 she married her boyfriend Jason Allen Alexander, but he delayed the announcement for 55 hours because she felt he wasn’t ready.
She met Kevin Federline in 2004 after just her three months of dating. The two later married and had their first child, Sean Preston Federline, the following year. Spears and Federline’s second child, Jaden James Federline, was born in 2006. When Federline filed for divorce from their two children that same year, she and Federline decided to share joint custody.
